Hi my name is Tony, I’m a hard working husband, father, Grandfather and home musician in Staffordshire England, I create and produce my take on the Progressive Rock genre, I love playing guitars and synths.

I first conceptualised my musical project and named it “Auroris” in 2004 from the first and last letters of the phenomenon “Aurora Borealis”, my musical inspirations being the likes of,

 Pink Floyd,

Genesis,

Porcupine Tree,

Steven Wilson,

Hawkwind,

Ozric Tentacles,

Tangerine Dream and many more!

I created my first Album in 2005 called “Recycled Space Debris”, then 2006 “Cryogenic Dreams”, 2008 “Outpost”, 2010 “Failed Gods & Beliefs”, 2012 “It’s Coming Through The Trees”.

In 2023 I released the album “No Rhyme or Reason”.

They started off in a very “Spacey” direction and down the years less so and more of a guitar & keyboards Prog style, trying to put in emotions rather than “shred”.

I generally think deeply in life, have had my heart broken a few times, love animals and nature, I hate what we are doing to this planet and try to cut my consumption as much as possible.

If you would like to discuss using my music on your project, please get in touch.

No Rhyme Or Reason

When writing this song I was inspired by how unexplained things sometimes happen in life to push us in a certain direction.

Fond Farewell

When I wrote this song I wanted to express emotion for people I have had to say goodbye to.

Foreboding

This song portrays the sense of dread or fear you may feel in difficult situations.

 My influences

Porkupine Tree

I first started listening to porkupine tree in 2001 and I resonate with their style as you can perhaps tell in my tracks.

Pink Floyd

Pink Floyd have been the soundtrack to my life since 1977, when I was given a copy of "darkside of the moon".

Steven Wilson

Because I like Porkupine Tree, I naturally gravitate to Steven Wilsons' solo material, which I find equally as inspirational.

To use any of my songs in your projects, please get in touch with me and we can chat about what you need.
